István Fekete Fine Reading Contest

On 5 February 2014 LAGYMANYOSI BARDOS school organized the István Fekete Fine Reading Contest for the schools of its district. This programme is a traditional one, based on ideas that were organized  for the first time 15 years ago.

It is a contest for 3 different age-groups. Third and fourth graders and the older students up to the eights grade. A lot of pupils took part. First they had to read a fragment from one of István Fekete’s works at their choice then they got an unknown text to read which they were not familiar with.

All participants had the chance to listen to a lot of well-prepared contestants. The jury had a difficult task. One of the third graders won the first prize.
